Soft Landing

[Translate] This goose shot was quite unexpected. I was more in a landscape and detail shot frame of mind. So when these geese started jumping in the water I was not setup and just started shooting. I got lucky with this shot. Original, left, shows a good portion of wrong technique, lens, f-step and even ISO. Guarding The Sunset

[Translate] I happen to be a very patriotic person and the American Bald Eagle just draws that much more out of me. There are times in the evening during sunset that I just feel like someone or thing is keeping watch over this country and it just fills me with a sense of pride and comfort, regardless of what the news says.
