While this apex predator is the least of concern in the endangered list unlike the critically endangered red wolf, It has a wonderful coat and personality. This gray wolf seemed to be having a rough day when I took this shot, at least that is what her expression said. In reality she had plenty of family near by and has it made at her home in the Wild Life Prairie Park in Hana Illinois. There is a lot to love about this canine from the color of her coat to the color of her ice blue eyes. In the wild the only animals this north american canid needs to worry about is humans and tigers. The receive very little threat from other animals in this area.
