Sea Of Treasures

This tree bloom was standing out to me as the blue water of the lake in the background just seamed to mesh into a soft blue. It is amazing how something so simple could be so beautiful.

On a clear day like this was it is easy to wonder what may lay past the tree line. Does adventure burn in your soul, or are you more dreamy and romantic? Let your imagination carry you through the day for that is one thing that keeps you young at heart.

The best gifts in life are provided by nature and this is no exception.  The rays sun flowing through the clouds just filled me with hope and wonder.  It’s a reminder, at least to me, that all things have a brighter light just waiting to shine.

In the movie ‘White Christmas’, Bing Crosby and Danny Kay sung a song called ‘Blue Skies’. Listening to the song you feel optimistic, hopeful, and full of cheer. This photo stirs within me those same emotions. I feel it’s a fairly close representative to the feelings in the song.

I took this photo because of the unique decay at the base of the tree. I really felt it unique. The more I look at this photograph the more potential I see. I may have to use it to create a ‘Robin Hood’ type of theme.

If you look close you’ll see a reflection of the sunset in a pond.  My only hesitation with this piece is the angle of that pond and reflection.  I feel I did not capture the moment as well as I should have.
