Redeveloped Gloomiest Forest With Hope

This photograph has always been one of my favorites and I want to go back here and try to capture some good black and whites, using a wide angle lens.  For what it is, it remains a good shot.  The small amount of early spring growth amid all the still and dormant trees just seemed to breath life into this shot and me.  It has been a while since I’ve tried to redevelop this shot and felt it was a good time to do so.  I am thrilled that to have come back here even if only in a digital world.  Original shot was taken April 19, 2008 at Moraine View Park in Illinois.  Photo was taken with a Panasonic DMC-FZ20.
