This photo was captured on May 2, 2008 with a Panasonic DMC-FZ20. It will never cease to amaze me how many people complain about point and shot camera’s not producing print quality images. I disagree and have come to realize it’s not the camera as the person. Every piece of equipment available has a learning curve. It’s up to the user to take the time to learn their equipment, how to use it, and how to develop digital photographs. There are many techniques available to the end of the final product. My best work from start to finish is much more than just taking the photo it is also utilizing slight dodge and burn here or there. It’s working an image until I get the result I’m looking for. My best work takes me from one to several hours to develop. My point being it’s not the camera, it’s the user.
